Pearblossom, CA (August 29, 2019) – A woman was injured while riding a bike in Pearblossom. The accident occurred on the morning of August 29 on Angeles Crest Highway.
A woman was riding her bicycle north on Angeles Crest Highway, near Mile Marker 38.5 and Mount Wilson Road. A male driver was heading in the same direction when he moved out of the way of a commercial vehicle that was partially in his lane.
The driver was temporarily blinded due to the sun’s glare and hit the bicyclist. The woman fell off her bike and tore her calf muscle. She was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
