Victim Suffers Pelvic Pain and Leg Injuries in South Lake Tahoe Accident
South Lake Tahoe, CA (June 2, 2019) – A woman suffered injuries in a bike crash in South Lake Tahoe. The accident occurred on the evening of June 2 on Lake Tahoe Boulevard.
The 39-year-old woman from Auburn was riding a small electric bicycle on the sidewalk in front of Grocery Outlet when she lost control of the bike after hitting loose gravel. She fell onto on Lake Tahoe Boulevard, where she was hit by a car. The driver ran over her leg.
The woman suffered pelvic pain and leg injuries in the crash. An off-duty nurse stopped to render aid to the woman until emergency crews arrived. The woman was conscious following the accident. She was taken to a local hospital, where she received stitches. The driver remained at the accident scene.
