Woman Airlifted After Getting Hit by Amtrak Train in Chatsworth

Chatsworth, CA (October 18, 2018) – A woman was injured after she was hit by an Amtrak train in Chatsworth. The accident happened on the afternoon of October 18 on Shadow Oaks Drive.

The woman was on the tracks trespassing near a tunnel in the 10300 block of Shadow Oaks Drive when she was hit by Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train 767. The train was on its way to San Luis Obispo.

The woman suffered serious injuries in the accident. She was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment. None of the 107 people aboard the Amtrak train were injured.
