San Diego, CA (August 19, 2019) – A woman was injured after a car crashed into a cemetery in San Diego. The accident occurred on the morning of August 19 at 38th Street and Imperial Avenue.

A domestic dispute escalated, causing the driver of a car to crash into the gate of Home of Peace Cemetery at the intersection. A woman was clinging onto the open driver’s side door at the time of the accident. The driver was allegedly the woman’s ex-boyfriend.

The car knocked over several headstones before stopping. The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
