Motorcycle, Honda Involved in Fatal Hit and Run Accident in Dos Palos

Dos Palos, CA (August 4, 2019) – A woman was killed and a man was injured in a hit and run crash in Dos Palos. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of August 4 at Arroya Avenue and Linden Road.

Anthony Lee Valencia, 41, from Dos Palos, was riding on a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle driven with a 38-year-old woman from Dos Palos as a passenger. The motorcycle was traveling north on Arroya Avenue, approaching Linden Road.

A Honda car was stopped at the stop sign on Linden Road when it traveled through the intersection in front of the motorcycle, causing both vehicles to collide. The Honda fled the accident scene.

Both Valencia and his passenger were thrown from the motorcycle. Valencia suffered a broken right leg. The woman died at the accident scene.

PG&E Says It Knew Its Lines Could Spark Fires

PG&E Corp acknowledged in July 2019 that it has known for many years that its power lines could fail, sparking wildfires in the process.
