1 Killed, 1 Injured in Cayucos Crash
Cayucos, CA (May 8, 2018) – A two-vehicle crash in Cayucos has killed one woman and injured a man. The fatal accident happened at the intersection of Highway 1 and Old Creek Rd on the morning of May 8.
The woman was driving a Honda Civic when it was hit by a Nissan Sentra while she was turning onto Highway 1 from Old Creek. The driver of the Sentra claims he had a green light and the Civic pulled in front of him. He tried to brakebut could not avoid hitting the Civic.
The Civic driver suffered fatal injuries and died at a local hospital. The driver of the Sentra broke a leg in the Cayucos accident.
