Woman Killed in Crash at 190th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard


Car Hits Light Pole in Fatal Torrance Accident

Torrance CA (July 8, 2020) – A woman was killed and four others were injured in a solo-vehicle crash in Torrance. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of July 8 at 190th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard.

A Dodge Charger drove over the center median and collided with a light pole at the intersection. A passenger, a 23-year-old Redondo Beach woman, died from her injuries. The driver, a 22-year-old man from Torrance, and two other passengers – a 22-year-old woman from Compton and a 23-year-old woman from Torrance – suffered major injuries. Another passenger – a 26-year-old Los Angeles man – was also injured but treated at the accident scene.
