Woman Killed in Crash at Main Street and Culver Drive


Antonio Calixto Navarrete Arrested in Fatal Irvine Accident

Irvine, CA (August 22, 2020) – A woman was killed in a DUI crash in Irvine. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of August 22 at Main Street and Culver Drive.

A Hyundai Elantra and a Ford F-150 collided at the intersection. A passenger in the Hyundai, a 20-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. Antonio Calixto Navarrete, 40, of San Clemente, was driving the Ford. He fled the accident scene but was later arrested for DUI, murder and hit and run.
