Car Hits Pole in Fatal Bakersfield Accident

Bakersfield, CA (August 29, 2020) – A woman was killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Bakersfield. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of August 29 at Olive Drive and Roberts Lane.

A man driving a Nissan pickup truck on Olive Drive when he went off the road at the intersection. He hit a traffic signal pole, killing the woman in the passenger seat. The man suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
