Man Drives Onto Sidewalk in Fatal Bakersfield Accident

Bakersfield, CA (January 9, 2020) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian crash in Bakersfield. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of January 9 at Oswell and Auburn streets.

A man and woman were walking on a sidewalk near a Bank of America parking lot when they were hit by a man driving a pickup truck. The woman was taken to a local hospital, where she later died. The male pedestrian suffered moderate injuries.
