Car Collides With Power Pole, Kills Woman in Bakersfield

Bakersfield, CA (October 18, 2018) – A woman was killed in a collision with a power pole in Bakersfield. The fatal accident happened on the morning of October 18 on Copus Road.

A woman was driving her vehicle on Copus Road, near Basic School Road, when the car overturned and hit a power pole. The woman was trapped inside her vehicle.

Because the pole fell over and knocked down live onto the car, emergency crews were unable to reach the victim in time. She died at the accident scene.
