Woman Killed in Crash on Gird Road


Victim Hit by Pickup Truck in Fatal Fallbrook Accident

Fallbrook, CA (December 10, 2020) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian crash in Fallbrook. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of December 10 on Gird Road.

A Fallbrook couple, both 60 years old, were walking on Gird Road, near Laketree Drive. Both were on the shoulder when the woman was hit from behind by a pickup truck. She died at the accident scene. Her husband was not injured. 

The driver of the pickup truck stopped for a moment but then fled the crash site. Police are still looking for the vehicle, which is described as a dark, older model pickup.
