Woman Killed in Crash on Highway 41 Near Highway 180


Catherina Monson Arrested for DUI, Gross Vehicular Manslaughter in Fatal Fresno Accident

Fresno, CA (October 4, 2020) – A woman was killed in a DUI crash in Fresno. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of October 4 on Highway 41.

Catherina Monson, 21, was driving a Buick LeSabre on northbound Highway 41. She missed the transition road to Highway 180, but still tried to get to the highway. The Buick hit the center divider and overturned.

Monson’s passenger, a 41-year-old woman, died at the accident scene. Monson was arrested for felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.
