Man Injured After Driver Hits Tree, Pole in Fatal San Diego Accident

San Diego, CA (August 11, 2019) – A woman was killed and her male passenger was injured in a solo-vehicle crash in San Diego. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of August 11 on Interstate 15. 

A woman was driving her vehicle on northbound Interstate 15 at Carroll Canyon Road when she lost control. Her vehicle veered off the freeway and hit a tree and light pole. She died at the accident scene. Her male passenger was hospitalized with unknown injuries.

The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
