Woman Killed in Crash on State Route 78 on College Boulevard


Honda Crash-Lands Onto Tesla in Fatal Oceanside Accident

Oceanside, CA (September 12, 2020) – A woman was killed in a rollover crash in Oceanside. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of September 12 on State Route 78.

A 70-year-old woman was driving a Honda Accord on westbound State Route 78. She was on the Vista Way off-ramp when her car left the freeway. The Honda collided with a Route 78 bridge support structure and crash-landed on a Tesla at College Boulevard. The Honda came to a rest on its roof. 

The woman died from her injuries. The couple inside the Tesla was not injured.
