Woman Killed in Head-on Crash on Wildcat Canyon Road

Vehicle Loses Control in Fatal Lakeside Accident

Lakeside, CA (June 7, 2020) – A woman was killed in a head-on crash in Lakeside. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of June 7 on Wildcat Canyon Road.

A sedan and a truck collided on Wildcat Canyon Road, near Ketuull Uunyaa Way. A 21-year-old woman from San Diego was heading south on Wildcat Canyon Road when she lost control and veered into the northbound lane. She hit a truck head-on.

The woman died at the accident scene. The driver of the truck, a 61-year-old woman, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
