Woman Collides With Truck in San Andreas

San Andreas, CA (May 9, 2018) – A Stockton woman has died after colliding with a horse trailer towed by a truck. The fatal crash happened on the afternoon of May 9 on Highway 12 in San Andreas.

The 74-year-old woman was driving a Suzuki motorcycle east on Highway 12 behind a Ford pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck was 26-year-oldJacob Ham from San Andreas. Ham had stopped his truck to prepare for a left turn. The woman did not realize the truck has stopped until it was too late. She applied the brakes and steered to the left, but collided with the horse trailer.

The woman died at the accident scene. Ham was not injured in the crash.
