Woman Dies in Lindsay Accident

Sacramento, CA (April 24, 2018) – A two-vehicle accident has led to fatality for a 58-year-old Coarsegold woman. The woman died on April 24 while driving on Highway 65 in Lindsay.

The woman was traveling on Highway 65 when she lost control of her Volkswagen and hit a Chevrolet. The woman allegedly was distracted and did not see traffic slowing down ahead. When she slammed on the brakes, the Volkswagen ended up in a ditch.

The Volkswagen then hit a Chevrolet traveling north on Highway 65 in Lindsay. The Chevrolet, driven by a 57-year-old Bakersfield man, hit the Volkswagen.

The driver of the Volkswagen was removed from her vehicle by rescue crews. She later died at a local hospital. The driver of the Chevrolet suffered cuts to the face.
