Driver Hits Fence in Fatal Phelan Accident

Phelan, CA (July 2, 2019) – A woman was killed in a crash in Phelan. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of July 2 on Phelan Road. 

A 25-year-old woman from Apple Valley was driving a Toyota Camry west on Phelan Road when the car veered to the right and went off the road. The Toyota collided with a chain link fence, causing blunt force trauma to the driver. The driver died at the accident scene. Alcohol allegedly contributed to the crash.
