Woman Killed, Loren Fine Injured in Crash on Highway 49

Plymouth, CA (June 11, 2019) – A woman was killed and another was injured in a crash in Plymouth. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of June 11 on Highway 49.

Two vehicles collided on Highway 49, a half-mile from Amador County line. A Honda slowed down to turn in front of a Ford. The driver of the Ford swerved into oncoming traffic and hit an oncoming Toyota.

The driver of the Toyota, a 59-year-old woman from Ione, died at the accident scene. The driver of the Ford, Fiddletown resident Loren Fine, 47, suffered minor injuries.
