Worker Injured in Construction Accident on W. Ventura Boulevard


Lumber Falls on Employee in Sherman Oaks Accident

Sherman Oaks, CA (November 21, 2019) – A construction worker suffered major injuries in a workplace accident in Sherman Oaks. The accident occurred on the morning of November 21 at a job site on W. Ventura Boulevard.

A construction worker was onsite at 14241 W. Ventura Boulevard when lumber fell on him. He was trapped under the lumber for several minutes. His co-workers pulled the wood off and freed him. They gave the worker CPR until emergency crews arrived and took over. He was rushed to a local trauma center, where he was in grave condition.
