Salida, CA (September 19, 2018) – A 17-year-old Salida girl was involved in a crash after suffering an alleged medical episode. The incident occurred on the morning of September 19 on Toomes Road.
The driver, Alyssa Froedge, was traveling north on Toomes, near Bacon Road. She appeared to have a medical issue, like she was vomiting. She pulled over to the shoulder, but lost control and slammed into a power pole.
The girl was conscious and alert after the accident, although she had abrasions and complained of back and neck pain.
