Los Gatos, CA (May 11, 2019) – A teen was killed in a crash in Los Gatos. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of May 11 on Highway 17.

Ashley Marie Oliver, 28, was driving a minivan the wrong way on Highway 17 when she hit a Toyota Corolla with five people inside. Three were hospitalized with major injuries. One suffered minor injuries. All the victims were teens.

One person, 16-year-old Armando Canales from Fremont, died at the accident scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt. Oliver is currently in jail for felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter charges.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the friends and loved ones of Armando Canales.
