Korina Machuca Arrested for Intoxication in Fatal Fresno Accident

Fresno, CA (October 22, 2019) – A bicyclist was killed in a crash in Fresno. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of October 22 on South Cherry Avenue.

Korina Machuca, 21, was heading north on South Cherry Avenue when she hit a man riding a bicycle. Machuca swerved to avoid the man, but she hit the man, then hit a nearby fence before spinning out. The man died at the accident scene.

Machuca had the odor of marijuana on herself and in her vehicle. She was arrested for driving under the influence of marijuana.
