Big Rig Crash Injures Driver

A fiery semi truck crash in Grand Terrance has injured one person and caused major traffic delays. The accident happened on the evening of February 14 on the 215 Freeway at Iowa Avenue. The big rig and three other vehicles crashed underneath a train trestle.

It is believed that one of the vehicles changed lanes in an unsafe manner, causing the driver of the semi truck to lose control. The vehicles crashes and the big rig caught fire.

The truck and another vehicle suffered significant damage. The truck driver did go to the hospital for medical treatment, but everyone else escaped unharmed. It took several hours to reopen the freeway.
