Hit and Run Crash in Sacramento Kills Boy
Sacramento, CA (September 19, 2018) – A boy was killed in a bicycle accident in Sacramento. The fatal crash occurred on the morning of September 19 on Watt Avenue.
The boy was riding his bicycle and crossing Watt Avenue near Potter Lane when he was hit by a vehicle, possibly a minivan. The driver of the vehicle refused to stop. The driver carried the victim onto the vehicle hood a block down Potter Lane before leaving the scene and the victim.
The bicyclist was found in front of a home in the area. He suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. Police are still looking for the suspect.
