Boy Fled Police in Fatal Palmdale Accident
Palmdale, CA (November 11, 2018) – A police chase in Palmdale caused a boy driving a stolen vehicle to crash and die. The fatal accident happened on the evening of November 11 at Palmdale Boulevard and Division Street.
The boy was fleeing from a police officer when he lost control and crashed into a palm tree at a Palmdale gas station at the intersection. He died at the accident scene.
The Nissan Altima sedan was originally pursued for speeding and multiple unsafe lane changes on the Antelope Valley Freeway. The boy exited at the Palmdale Boulevard off-ramp and then accelerated at a high rate of speed. He failed to stop at the intersection and that was when the fatal crash occurred.
