Car Hits Bicycle Taxi in The Embarcadero
5 Injured in San Francisco Hit and Run Accident
San Francisco, CA (June 27, 2018) – Police are looking for the driver of a Honda Civic that hit a bicycle taxi in San Francisco. Five were injured in the crash, which occurred on the afternoon of June 27 along The Embarcadero North.
The driver of a gold Honda Civic was traveling south along The Embarcadero North at Sansome Street. The driver was serving through traffic when the car hit a bike taxi. The impact caused the bike taxi to hit a second bike taxi.
A 66-year-old man driving the first taxiis currently suffering from life-threatening injuries. Four passengers – a 32-year-old woman and her 5-year-old daughterand a 33-year-old man and his 8-year-old son –were injured but are expected to survive.The driver of the second pedicab was not injured.
The driver of the Honda did not stop at the accident scene. The vehicle was last seen heading toward the Bay Bridge.
