Ramya Ramey Faces DUI Charges for Fatal Walnut Creek Accident
Walnut Creek, CA (August 12, 2018) – Two people were killed and two others were injured in a Walnut Creek crash. The fatal accident happened on the morning of August 12 on Highway 24 at Interstate 680.
Ramya Ramey from Antioch was allegedly driving drunk heading east on Highway 24 when she drove the vehicle off a connector ramp and ended up on the northbound Interstate 680. The car was badly damaged in the accident.
Ramey was seriously injured in the crash, as was another woman in the vehicle. Two 18-year-old men inside the vehicle were killed. Ramey now faces multiple charges, including DUI and manslaughter.
