Badger, CA (May 17, 2019) – A crash in Badger has killed a popular rodeo announcer. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of May 17 on Highway 245.

Chad Nicholson, known as a rodeo legend, was operating a four-wheeler several miles off the highway when the tow rope snapped. The vehicle went down a nearly 40-foot cliff. Nicholson was killed in the crash.
