Chowchilla, CA (October 8, 2019) – A child was hit by a car while riding a scooter in Chowchilla. The accident occurred on the morning of October 8 at 7th Street and Humboldt Avenue.

A child was riding a scooter at the intersection when they were hit by a Ford Focus. The child was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The driver of the Ford fled the accident scene. Police are still looking for the driver.
