Car Wraps Around Light Pole in Wilmington, Kills 10-Year-old Boy
Wilmington, CA (August 27, 2018) – A child was killed and two others were injured in a crash in Wilmington. The fatal accident happened on the morning of August 27 on Quay Avenue.
A crash occurred when a car slammed into a light pole at the 200 block of Quay Avenue. The Lexus was traveling on Harry Bridges Boulevard and went around a curve. The car lost control as it went over railroad tracks.
The Lexus then crashed into a light pole, killing a 10-year-old boy. Two others – a man and a boy between the ages of 6 and 8 – suffered injuries and were taken to a local hospital.
