Live Oak, CA (October 19, 2019) – A CHP officer was hit by a car while directing traffic in Live Oak. The accident occurred on the morning of October 19 at Highway 99 and Live Oak Boulevard.

The officer was directing traffic at the intersection when they were hit by a speeding car. The officer was injured and taken to a local hospital. The driver of the car, Lucas Nelson, was arrested for causing the crash.
