Nurse Donna Frey Dies From Coronavirus
Victim Worked at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial for More Than 30 Years
Lodi, CA (July 3, 2020) – A long-time certified nursing assistant at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial has died from COVID-19. Donna Frey, 65, died from the virus on July 3.
Frey had worked at the hospital for more than 30 years. She developed a fever on June 14 and was given a COVID-19 test. She tested positive and was sent home to isolate. The virus got worse, though. Frey’s fever spiked and she developed breathing issues.
Frey was admitted to the hospital and pneumonia set in. She took a turn for the worse. She was transferred to Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz. She died on July 3. Frey’s brother also died from COVID-19 in April.
