Sequoia Transitional Care Has 40 Total Cases of COVID-19


Fewer Than 11 Deaths at Porterville Facility

Porterville, CA – Sequoia Transitional Care is suffering from a coronavirus outbreak. The CDPH website reports that since January 1, 2020, the Porterville facility has had 40 cumulative cases. Twenty-two residents have had the disease, while 18 staff members have tested positive. So far, there have been fewer than 11 deaths.
