Déjà vu for Valley Glen Starbucks – 2nd Car Accident in Three Weeks

A vehicle slammed into the patio area of a Starbucks inhabited by customers in the Valley Glen neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley. Three people were rushed to area hospitals, but there were no reports of serious injuries.

It’s the second time in 3 weeks a car has crashed into the coffee shop. Employees and area residents are scared for their safety following the recent crashes. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.

The most recent crash occurred about 10 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2017. Los Angeles police said two cars crashed at the intersection of Coldwater Canyon and Victory Boulevard, and one of the vehicles came to a stop on the coffee shop’s patio.

This was a really similar scene to an incident that occurred on July 20, 2017, when at least seven people were injured – three critically – when two cars crashed, sending a vehicle careening into the walls of the very same Starbucks.
