Driver Dies After Being Shot Then Crashing SUV Into Discovery Cube At L.A.’s Children’s Museum


Oct. 16, 2017: A shooter fired several shots into a 2001 GMC SUV and fled the scene. No description of the shooter’s vehicle or the gunman was available. A male driver of the SUV was shot, lost control of his vehicle, struck another car and slammed into the Discovery Cube at L.A.’s Children’s Museum in Lake View Terrace.

The SUV crashed into the Museum in the 11800 block of Foothill Boulevard. The driver was not conscious or breathing when officers arrived. The SUV’s driver died at the scene. The female driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
