Driver Wanted In Deadly Hit-and-Run Car Crash In Rialto

One woman is dead and another woman is in critical condition after a hit-and-run driver struck the two pedestrians in Rialto. At 8:35 pm, authorities responded to the scene of the accident in the 1400 block of Foothill Boulevard.

The women had been walking across the street in the crosswalk when a vehicle struck them. The driver did not stop. The two women were taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. One woman died at the hospital.

A car matching the description of the one that fled the scene was spotted at a nearby apartment complex in the 200 block of Beachwood Street. Police have not identified the hit-and-run driver and are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect.
