Police Looking for Hit-and-Run Driver Who Caused Los Angeles Accident

Los Angeles, CA (April 13, 2019) – A man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident in Los Angeles. The crash happened on the evening of April 13 at Third and Witmer streets.

Video showed a man, Edgar Hernandez, stopping several times to allow cars, which had the green light, to pass. However, one vehicle didn’t stop and it hit Hernandez.

The vehicle fled the accident scene. Police are still looking for the driver. If caught, the driver faces felony hit-and-run charges. The vehicle is believed to be a tan or silver Honda Accord with possible damage to the front end and windshield. 

Hernandez suffered severe head injuries in the crash. He is currently hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
