Jamestown Accident Injures Edward Kalen, James Sayer and Helen Celia
Jamestown, CA (August 29, 2018) – Two vans collided in Jamestown, injuring three adults and a boy. The accident happened on the evening of August 29 on Highway 120.
A Chevy van driven by Edward Kalen, 55, of Copperopolis and Dodge van driven by New Zealand resident James Sayer, 43, collided on Highway 120 at the Jacksonville Road bridge
Kalen was trapped inside van and had to be rescued by emergency crews. He and Sayer both suffered major injuries and were airlifted to local hospitals. A passenger in the Dodge, 37-year-old Helen Celia from New Zealand, suffered moderate injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital. A 3-year-old boy in the Dodge suffered minor injuries and was also airlifted to a local hospital.
