Santa Maria, CA (March 19, 2019) – A man suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident in Santa Maria. The crash occurred on the morning of March 19 on Highway 101.

George F. Whiting, 32, of Santa Maria, was walking across Highway 101 near Stowell Road when he was hit by a car. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver, Justin Watson, 42, remained at the accident scene.
