Hector Sandoval Killed in Crash at Church and Chestnut Avenues
3 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Fresno Accident; Drunk Driver Arrested
Fresno, CA (February 17, 2019) – A DUI crash in Fresno has killed a young man. The fatal accident happened on the evening of February 17 at Church and Chestnut avenues.
Three vehicles collided at the intersection. A DUI driver rear-ended a vehicle, causing it to flip over. The vehicle landed in the yard of a nearby home. One person was killed. He was identified as Hector Sandoval, 19, from Los Angeles. Two adults and two children inside the vehicle suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital.
The suspect hit another car, which had an elderly couple and their grandchild inside. The vehicle was totaled but thankfully nobody was injured. The suspected drunk driver was arrested.
