Fatal Pedestrian Accident, Pedestrian Fatality, Pedestrian Killed

Lake Isabella, CA (May 6, 2019) – A pedestrian was hit by a car and killed in a Lake Isabella crash. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of May 6 on Highway 178.

A pedestrian was walking in the eastbound lanes of Highway 178 near Highway 155 when he was hit by a car. The man, identified at 27-year-old Igors Vasiljevs from Latvia, died at the accident scene. It is believed that the man was intoxicated.

The motorist remained at the accident scene. He was identified as John Bopp, 37.
