Costa Mesa, CA (October 13, 2019) – Multiple crashes in Costa Mesa have led to injuries. The accidents occurred on the morning of October 13 on the 55 Freeway. 

The first crash happened on the southbound side of the 55 Freeway, near Victoria Street. CHP was at the scene responding to a call of a wrong-way driver. A second accident occurred when another driver ran into cars in traffic and then rear-ended a CHP patrol car.

No officers were injured. However, two drivers were arrested and multiple unknown injuries were involved.
