16-Year-Old Loses Control, Dies in Auburn Accident
Auburn, CA (November 13, 2018) – A 16-year-old girl was killed after hitting a concrete pillar in Auburn. The fatal accident happened on the morning of November 13 on Interstate 80.
The crash occurred on westbound I-80 near the Heather Glen overcrossing. The girl was driving a Ford Freestyle when she lost control and hit a concrete pillar.
Joelle Cherelyn Lindbloom, from Colfax, died at the accident scene. She was the sole occupant of the SUV. No other vehicles were involved.
