Keith Leung Dies After Tesla Crashes IntoPond
Danville, CA (May 20, 2018) – Aman had died after a Tesla car he was driving went off the road and crashed into a pond. The fatal crash happened on the evening of May 20 in Danville.
The man’s vehicle, a Tesla Model S, was recovered from the pond the following morning. Rescuers found the man’s body inside. The man has been identified as Keith Leung, age 34, from Danville.
Investigators are trying to see if the Tesla’s semiautonomous Autopilot mode was on when the crash occurred, or if the accident was caused by driver error, such as speed or intoxication.
The car was badly mangled in the crash. The property owner reported the crash after noticing noise and property damage.
