Lancaster Crash Kills 3, Injures 4 Others
Three people were killed when another vehicle ran a red light and slammed into their car. The accident happened at around noon in Lancaster on January 11 near the intersection of Avenue J-8 and Challenger Way.
A silver sedan was traveling eastbound on Avenue J-8 when it allegedly ran a red light and collided with a blue sedan heading north on Challenger.
The blue car landed in a dirt field adjacent to the intersection. Three people from that vehicle were killed in the collision. The victims were identified as a husband and wife, both in their 20s, and a grandmother who was in her early 60s.
The four occupants of the silver car, all young men, were taken to a local hospital and treated for their injuries. They are expected to survive.
