The dam is closed during the swimming season from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and lifeguards are on staff to keep your family safe.
Caper Acres. If you have little ones, this is “the” place to spend an afternoon. It’s a fairytale-themed playground for kids with elaborate play structures of all your favorite fairy tales. It has a castle, the crooked house, Humpty Dumpty, and even a treehouse. Some of the structures are geared towards 2-5 years of age but there’s also fun for ages 5-12. It’s a great all-around place to let the kids blow off steam. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the surroundings.
