Golden Gate Transit Bus Involved in Fatal Accident

Pedestrian Fatality, Fatal Pedestrian Accident, Pedestrian Killed

San Francisco, CA (May 11, 2019) – A pedestrian was hit by a bus in San Francisco. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of May 11 at Golden Gate Avenue and Hyde Street.

The man was hit by a Golden Gate Transit bus at the intersection. The man later died at a local hospital. The bus was stopped at the accident scene. The crash is under investigation.

PG&E Says It Knew Its Lines Could Spark Fires

PG&E Corp acknowledged in July 2019 that it has known for many years that its power lines could fail, sparking wildfires in the process. The acknowledgment came in a federal court filing which had been mandated by U.S. district judge William Alsup, who had ordered PG&E to respond to a Wall Street Journal article on a “paragraph-by-paragraph basis.”
