Woman Crashes Into Ameci Pizza Kitchen in Newhall DUI Accident
Newhall, CA (March 1, 2019) – A woman was driving drunk when she smashed into a restaurant in Newhall, injuring one person. The accident occurred on the afternoon of March 1 on Lyons Avenue.
A 40-year-old woman was driving while four times over the legal limit. She smashed into Ameci Pizza Kitchen at 24268 Lyons Avenue. A customer, a man in his 60s, suffered moderate injuries in the crash. Some customers were hit by flying glass but were not injured.
Police conducted test and found that the woman was driving at nearly four times the legal limit. She was arrested for felony DUI.
